Privacy
Dice Poker, on the web at dicepoker.app and in the App Store app. Last updated September 23, 2026.
Dice Poker is a small game made for friends. It keeps only what it needs to run a game, it has no ads, and it never tracks you, sells anything about you, or shares it with anyone to market to you.
What the game keeps
- An anonymous player id. The first time you open the game, it signs you in without an account, name or password. The id is how the game knows which seat in a game is yours.
- Your player name and chip color, and the moves in each game you play. Everyone in that game sees them. Games are private and open only to people with the invite link.
- A turn alert token, if you turn alerts on, so the game can tell your phone it's your turn. Turning alerts off removes it.
- A short code, if you move your player to another device. It expires after 10 minutes.
- Feedback you send: your message, the email address if you type one, your player name, the game you were in, the app version and what device you're on. It's emailed to the developer so they can answer you, and the game doesn't store it.
Your recent games, name, color and settings are also saved on your device, and they stay there.
How long
A game that never starts is deleted after a day. Any other game is deleted after 14 days with no moves, along with the names, moves and alert tokens in it. Your anonymous id lasts as long as your device keeps it. Deleting the app or clearing the site's data removes everything saved on the device.
Who runs it
The game runs on Google Firebase (the anonymous sign-in, the game data and turn alerts), Cloudflare (the website and email) and Apple's push service (alerts on iPhone). They handle the data only to run those services.
Children
Dice Poker is made for friends and families, not for children on their own. Kids are welcome to play with a parent's okay; a nickname works fine as a player name. The game never asks anyone's age, real name or contact details. A parent can have a child's data removed by emailing hello@dicepoker.app.
Getting your data removed
Email hello@dicepoker.app, or use Send feedback in the game, and say which name you play under. Your name, moves and alert token will be removed from every game you're in.
